Alberto Ortega Trejo is an architect and artist whose work crosses performance, design research and site specific interventions.  His practice investigates the relations embedded between objects, space, bodies and landscapes through the lens of the ideological and infrastructural conditions that frame them.  His work is on his website, and his eyes are here.

The Martin Roche Scholarship, founded in 1926 by architect Martin Roche and administered by the Chicago branch of the American Institute of Architects Foundation, is granted to a graduating student of one of the three Chicago Schools of Architecture.  This award provides the opportunity for a recent graduate to study architecture independently abroad.  Like a Flower fulfills 2019’s scholarship cycle.
